Mayers Memorial Hospital District is excited to announce they will be hosting Health Career Days at all three local high schools.
Purpose: To make
contact with Jr. /Sr. High School students and educate them on the many
different career opportunities there are in the Healthcare Field. Many students
start thinking about their career as early as Jr. High. This will be a great opportunity to “plant
some seeds and grow our own!”
Displays/Presentations:
Departments/Clinics will have a
representative that will be physically available to answer questions about
their field. Handouts to provide
information on:
- Education
needed college prep and beyond.
- Information
about the field
- Skills
required, etc.
- Interactive
activity if appropriate
- Wages,
Benefits, etc.
