Scholarship Deadlines are May 1

Mayers Intermountain Healthcare Foundation has a variety of scholarship opportunities available. The deadline for applications is May 1, 2015.
Scholarship Guidelines and Requirements: Each year, scholarships are offered to students entering a health- or medical-related field. The funding available will depend on how many contributions are received for that particular fund during the year. Scholarship amounts will be determined by the Scholarship Committee as they review the applications.
Applicants that are high school seniors or graduates of the Big Valley Joint Unified School District or the Fall River Joint Unified School District must have good scholastic standing.
A complete application packet must be submitted which includes: 1) Scholarship application (include signatures on page 2 &3 of application) 2) Personal essay 3) Copy of your transcript: high school or college transcript/class schedule, if already enrolled OR… 4) Copy of conference itinerary for continuing education, certification, or training program 5) Proof of acceptance to an accredited school or program 6) Two (2) letters of recommendation. If you are employed by MMHD, one must be from a supervisor who is familiar with your work.
The Scholarship Committee may request additional information. Scholarship Deadline: Applications for the Fall term must be postmarked or emailed by Friday, May 1, 2015. Late applications will not be accepted. Scholarship winners will be contacted in June 2015.
